Role Descriptions
Volunteer Onsite Event Facilitator
InfinityEd is based in Wilbraham, MA on Nipmuc, Pocumtuc, and Agawam land territories — We provide in-center, at-home, and online personalizing tutoring sessions, educational programs, and academic mentorship to elementary, middle school, high school, and college-level students based on their area of need or interest.
InfinityEd seeks 2-3 interested volunteers who are focused in the education, facilitation, and events management field during our Summer Community Events programming.
With the possibility of working beyond our summer programming, InfinityEd is looking for a confident, engaging, and adaptable person who has experience working with youth in learning and events spaces that embody learning, play, and connection.
Our volunteers are high school, college age, or recently graduated persons who are looking for credited work, resume experience, or the freelance interest in growing with an education services company. Events include Game Night, Movie Night, Book Club, Chess Club, Creative Writing Open Hours, Slime Days, Open Call Registration Nights, and more with the interst from our candidate to build programs and themed events for our students, clients, and possible connections through networking.
*It is required for this position to be ON SITE and cannot be considered for a remote position as all events are hosted at InfinityEd learning center in Wilbraham, MA.

Based on Summer Events Programming schedule. Weekend and evening availability required.
Experience/License/Certification:
1 year experience teaching, tutoring, and facilitating in learning spaces (Preferred)

We are looking for someone who loves teaching and is exceptional at teaching their subject matter. This person needs to be a go-getter, someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to learn and adapt.
